Lactic Acid includes L and D optical isomers. In addition to DL-Lactic Acid (a mixture of L-Lactic Acid and D-Lactic Acid) produced by chemical synthesis, we also manufacture L-Lactic Acid and D-Lactic Acid by using a fermentation process. D-Lactic Acid is used as a material for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals as well as various polymer and compound materials that require the exoskeleton and optical activity of D-Lactic Acid and methanol ester.
